My opinion of the museum:
I thought the museum was very well done, and I was very happy to find all the hands-on things for the kids to do throughout. They had plenty to keep the kids entertained and learning while we paid more attention to the information.
I was also impressed by (don't laugh) the food in the cafe! We were starving when we got there (poor planning), so we ate at the little cafe inside the museum. It was about the same price as going to Subway (maybe even less), and I had one of the BEST sandwiches I have ever had.
We also saw the 3D movie they have there at the museum called Dinosaurs, and it was less than impressive. I thought it was a big fat waste of money (and have since heard others say the same thing, now that I'm paying attention). The 3D was kind of awful, the glasses made me go cross-eyed and gave me a headache, and my kid was scared. It wasn't even that informative.
Anyway, if you ever decide to go there, save up, cause holy cow it was expensive! It was fun, though, and I'm glad we went before the baby came!

Josh and Zack inside the little kid-size cave. I bent down to take a picture of them and heard a couple of teenagers say, "Oh, we'll move over for your picture." Turns out they were in the cave making out when my kids interrupted!
Asher, Steve, me, Josh waiting for the 3D movie to start. Not sure why Steve looks a bit murderous in this picture, lol
