My family has been sick all winter. Strep 4 times, the flu/virus (who knows which it was?) twice...
For two weeks earlier this month, my brother-in-law Brandon was really, really sick. He ended up in the hospital with Pneumonia and double ear infections.
My mom spent two weeks bed-ridden with the same symptoms.
I was down for a week, Josh and Asher both got it, and Max was sick again.
Now my father-in-law (Steve's step dad) is in the hospital with Pneumonia.
And my poor mother-in-law, who has been taking care of everyone, is now sick with the same symptoms.
And Max has croup.
Again.
Spent last night in the InstaCare with him.
They gave him steroids again, and prescribed an inhaler.
Something good did come out of it, though...
For basically the first time ever, Max wanted to sit in my lap for an hour. We watched Dinosaur Train and sang the songs together. He sings, "Rahr, rahr, rahr!" like a Dinosaur and dances. It was AWESOME. He's such a busy kid, he never slows down and just sits with me.
:) Best hour I've had all week.
